The Air Element

Air is yang. It is quick, light, airy, spacious, dry, remote and abstract. A light-boned, cerebral person would manifest the Air element. Air-style moves are light, fast and loose as in the warm-up moves. Balancing stances, e.g. scales, are Air element postures, as are breathing exercises and meditation. In terms of physiology, the lung, triple warmer and gall bladder meridians are air ruled.
